Libanska policija večeras je upotrijebila suzavac protiv demonstranata koji su snage reda gađali kamenjem blokirajući put nedaleko od parlamenta u centru Bejruta, drugog dana protesta protiv Vlade.
Policija se sukobila sa demonstrantima na dva glavna trga u centru grada.

Požar je izbio na ulazu na trg ispred parlamenta dok su demonstranti pokušali da probiju policijski kordon, javljaju agencije.
Demonstranti su, takođe, provalili u prostorije Ministarstva za stambena pitanja i saobraćaja.
"Želimo da uništimo Vladu. Oni nam ne daju ni posao i uskraćuju nam pravo", rekao je Nisan Gravi, devetnaestogodišnji demonstrant.
Eksplozija više od 2.000 tona amonijaka u utorak u luci u Bejrutu ubila je 158 ljudi, a ranila više od 6.000.
